MILLERTON STORE

Out & Back: 28 miles (aprox. 500 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to Champlain. Turn right off trail onto Champlain, go east to Perin. Turn left on Perin, go north & east to Willow. Turn left on Willow, go north to Copper.Turn right on Copper, go east to Auberry Road. Turn left on Aubury Road, go north and east to Millerton Road.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*The Millerton Store has food and drinks, a port-a-potty, and a bike rack.

SUMMIT MOUNTAIN ROAD

Out & Back: 3-4 miles (aprox. 1,000 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Start from middle of The Millerton Store ride on Aubury Road. Turn right off Aubury Road on to Summit Ranch Road (Through open automatic gate, gate closes at night), go east to first intersection. Turn left and go north to next intersection. Turn right and go to end of road with chain across road and water tank. (Great 360° views)

Back: Return in reverse order.

*There are no services on this ride!

FRIANT SHELL STATION

Out & Back: 24 miles (flat)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to end of trail. Turn right and go north on Old Friant Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go orth to the Shell Station in the town of Friant.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*The Shell Store has food and drinks, a rest room, and a bike rack.

LOST LAKE

Out & Back: 21 miles (flat)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to end of trail. Turn right and go north on Old Friant Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go north to the Lost Late Road before the town of Friant.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*Lost Lake has rest rooms and water.

THE CIRCUIT

Loop: 36 miles (aprox. 700 ft. elevation)

START:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to Champlain. Turn right off trail onto Champlain, go east to Perin. Turn left on Perin, go north & east to Willow. Turn left on Willow, go north to Copper. Turn right on Copper, go east to Aubury Road. Turn left on Aubury Road, go north and east to Millerton Road. Turn left on Millerton Road and go west past Table Moutain Casino and Friant State Park. (This part of Millerton Road between the Casino and the State Park is narrow with lots of traffic.)Go to the town of Friant where the road changes its name to Friant Road. Continue south on Friant Road to Old Friant Road. Turn right on Old Friant Road and go west to the Lewis Eaton trail. Turn right on the Lewis Eaton trail, go south to Woodward Park.

*The Millerton Store & the Shell Station have food, rest rooms, and a bike rack.

SKY HARBOR ROAD

Out & Back: 8 miles (aprox. 1,500 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Start from middle of The Circuit ride on Millerton Road. Turn right off Millerton Road on to Sky Harbor Road.
Go north following Sky Harbor Road to the end.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*There is a beach and rest rooms at the middle of this ride.

PRATHER

Out & Back: 49 miles (aprox. 2,500 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton Trail from Woodward Park to Champlain. Turn right off trail onto Champlain, go east to Perin. Turn left on Perin, go north & east to Willow. Turn left on Willow, go north to Copper. Turn right on Copper, go east to Aubury Road. Turn left on Aubury Road, go north and stay on Aubury Road until Prather.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*The Millerton Store in the middle of the ride has food and drinks, a port-a-poty, and a bike rack. Prather has a Mini Mart, Foster Freeze, grocery store, Longs Drugs, and a shopping center for food and rest rooms.

BACK SIDE OF MILLERTON LAKE

Out & Back: 45 miles (aprox. 400 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to end of trail. Turn right and go north on Old Friant Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go north to the town of Friant. Turn left on Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go north to the town of Friant. Turn left on Road 206 (right across from the Shell Station) and go west across the San Joaquin River Bridge. Turn right on Road 145 and go east and north to Millerton Road. Turn right on Millerton Road and go east through the State Park entrance to the camp ground/boat ramp at the end of the road.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*There are restrooms at the camp ground but no food. The Shell Station, in the middle of the ride, in Friant has food, rest rooms, and bike racks.

22 MILE HOUSE

Out & Back: 40 miles (aprox. 500 ft elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to end of trail. Turn right and go north on Old Friant Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go north to the town of Friant. Turn left on Road 206 (right across from Shell Station) and go west across the San Joaquin River Bridge. Turn right on Road 145 and go east and north to Millerton Road. Go straight (here Road 145 changes to Road 211) north to Road 208. Turn Left on Road 208 and go west to Highway 41 (Road 208 is rough and bumpy). Go across Highway 41 cautiously to the 22 Mile House on the right.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*There is food, rest rooms at the 22 Mile House. The Shell Station, in the middle of the ride, in Friant has food, rest rooms and a bike rack.

SPRING VALLEY SCHOOL

Out & Back: 48 miles (aprox. 2,500 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton Trail from Woodward Park to end of trail. Turn right and go north on Old Friant Road to New Friant Road. Turn left and go north to the town of Friant. Turn left on Road 206 (right across from the Shell Station) and go west across the San Juaquin River Bridge. Turn right on Road 145 and go east and north to Millerton Road. Go straight (here Road 145 changes to Road 211) north to Road 200. Turn right on Road 200 and go east approximately 300 yards to the Spring Valley School on the left.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*There are water faucets and picnic tables at the school. The Shell Station, in the middle of the ride, in Friant has food, rest rooms, and a bike rack.

HUMPHREY’S STATION

Out & Back: 52 miles (aprox. 2,500 ft elevation)

OUT:

Take Lewis Eaton trail from Woodward Park to Champlain. Turn right off trail onto Champlain, go east to Perin. Turn left on Perin, go north & east to Willow. Turn left on Willow, go north to Copper. Turn right on Copper, go east to Aubury Road. Turn left on Aubury Road, go north to the 2nd Millerton Road. Turn right on Millerton Road and go east to Morgan Canyon Road. Turn right on Morgan Canyon Road (Hwy 168) and go south east to Nicholas Road.Turn left on Nicholas Road and go east to Tollhouse Road. Turn left on Tollhouse Road and go north to Humphrey’s station on the right.

BACK: Return in reverse order.

*The owner of Humphrey’s Station won’t let you use the restrooms unless you buy a sit-down meal. Food is available at Humphrey’s Station. The Millerton Store, in the middle of the ride, has food and drinks, a port-a-poty, and a bike rack.

HUMPHREY’S STATION LOOP

*Begin at Shaw and Academy. This ride includes ‘Wild Cat’ one of the toughest hills in our area.

Out, Loop & Back: 65 miles (aprox. 3,500 ft. elevation)

OUT:

Take Shaw east to Zediker. Turn right on Zediker and go south to Ashlan. Turn left on Ashlan and go east to Watts Valley Road. Turn left on Watts Valley Road and go north to ‘Corral’ at Pittman Hill and Watts Valley Road. Turn right on Watts Valley Road and go east up ‘Wild Cat’ to Maxson and Watts Valley Road. Turn left on Watts Valley Road and go north to Sycamore. Go straight (the road changes to Burrough Valley Road) to Tollhouse Road. At this point if you want to go to the town of Tollhouse (aprox. 3 miles), turn right on Tollhouse Road and go north to Tollhouse. (To skip Tollhouse, turn left on Tollhouse Road and go south to Humphrey’s Station.) Just south past Humphrey’s Station turn left on Pittman Hill Road and go south to Sample Road and Pittman Hill Road. Turn Left on Pittman Hill Road and go south to the ‘Corral’ at Watts Valley Road and Pittman Hill Road. ( The road goes straight but changes it’s name to Watts Valley Road.)

Most of these intersections turn 90° but keep the same name. This can be confusing so you may want to consult a map. At this point follow the first part of the ride in Reverse order back to the start.

*Tollhouse has a Mini Mart with food, restrooms, and a table to eat at. Food is available at Humphrey’s Station, but the owner of Humphrey’s Station won’t let you use the restrooms unless you buy a sit-down meal. The Mini Mart at Shaw and Academy has food and drinks, a Subway, restrooms, and tables to eat at around the side of the store.
