Club Info

The CCORC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable trail access for mountain bicyclists, and to maintaining the trails and by-ways on which mountain bicyclists ride. CCORC supports the conservation of open spaces and is committed to educating mountain bicyclists to ride sensitively and responsibly in order to protect the natural environment and the experience of other trail users. Toward these ends, CCORC has the following objectives:

1. Bicycle Advocacy

a. Work with land managers for the development and continuance of mountain biking access on approved trails.

b. Work with land managers for the development of new trails and maintenance of existing trails for both mountain biking and multi-use (i.e. hike, horse, bike).

2. Education and Promotion

a. Promote responsible use of public trails by mountain bike users.

b. Promote mountain biking as a recreational activity that has multiple health benefits, is environmentally non-polluting, and adds to the quality of life.

c. Sponsored rides for the CCORC members, and the general public, throughout CCORC’s geographical area by hosting leader lead rides.
