It’s about that time to pull your CX bike down from the garage and get it ready to play in the dirt. CCORC will once again be hosting Homegrown CX at Woodward Park starting Sunday, November 9. This year the series will consist of three races; November 9, December 7 and December 14. For all the details, visit the Homegrown Cyclocross 2014 page. We look forward to seeing you out at this family-friendly event. All ages and skill levels welcome.
Share your love of mountain biking with the whole family. CCORC’s Rob Kranovich will lead a family-friendly ride of the Blue Oak Trail at Millerton Lake on Saturday, August 23.
A few start time/location options:
1) 7 am at Friant & Copper Park & Ride
2) 8 am at Friant Cove Park & Ride
3) 8:30 am at Millerton Courthouse Parking Lot
Any age is welcome but note the start times and beware of your child’s ability. You are responsible for them. If they cannot make it from Woodward Park to Friant in under an hour or they are not ready to ride on Friant Road then you should plan to meet at the Courthouse. Helmets are required to participate in this ride. Bring your own water / nutrition.
After the ride, group will eat at Sandals at the Beach Grill.
To RSVP for this ride, please visit the event page on Facebook.

CCORC already has two members of IMBA’s National Mountain Bike Patrol Program, and we’re looking for more! If you’re interested, step one is to attend the first training day this Saturday. Please Contact Rob Kranovich at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested
